Early Careers
Williams Racing actively supports and inspires young talent interested in STEM with a range of programmes from primary schools through to university graduates. Williams support multiple pathways through which young aspiring talent can join Williams Racing, including Work Experience, Apprenticeships, Industrial Placements and Graduate Programmes. All our programmes aim to support the next generation of innovators and winners. Together we are successful. Together we win. We Are Williams

Our work experience is aimed at year 10-13 students, providing a unique view of how an F1 team runs. The aim of the week is to help students understand the various jobs and routes in F1 and provide them with the tools to set on the pathway to get there. Applications for our work experience open in January of each year, with select dates running from April – August.

Get involved in other forms of work experience (other levels/types of motorsport or other types of engineering-based experiences). It all adds up and will benefit you in the future!
Research! This may be reading, watching YouTube videos, listening to podcasts taking part in courses online, whatever interests you the most! By learning more about different areas of motorsport/engineering will help prepare you for your future.
Keep an eye on careers sites. Even if you aren’t ready to apply for these jobs now, the job descriptions will explain more about what these roles do and what experience/qualifications you will need for that role one day. Why not start this now!
Keep doing what you enjoy. Whilst you are younger, now is the time to explore. Find what you enjoy, find what you don’t. Get involved with a range of activities!
