Work Experience
A unique look into how a Formula 1 team takes a car from idea to the racetrack
Week-long work experience placements for students in years 10 to 13.
The aim of the week is to help students understand the huge variety of jobs in F1 and help set out the routes and tools to get there. As racing online develops almost as fast as on track, this year we will also be running an Esports work experience week alongside our traditional F1 work experience.

TOP TIPS:

Don’t just focus on work experience in F1. Seek out opportunities in other forms and levels of motorsport, and other engineering-based experiences. It will broaden and deepen your knowledge and benefit you in the future.
Do your research. This may be reading, watching YouTube videos, listening to podcasts, taking part in online courses, or whatever interests you the most.
Keep an eye on careers sites. Even if you aren’t ready to apply for these jobs now, the job descriptions will explain more about what these roles do and what experience and qualifications you will need for that role one day.
Experiment to find out what you enjoy. There is no set route to success and being young is the perfect time to explore a range of activities and career paths.
